Masque teatro founded by Lorenzo Bazzocchi and Catia Gatelli in Bertinoro (1992). In 1998, Eleonora Sedioli - stage designer and performer – becames part of the company. The visionary strength of their theatre is expressed through the complex dialogue that the company develops between the philosophy, the creation of scenic architectures and the essential role of Figures. Prigione detto Atlante (Myfest-Glasgow, 1994), Coefficente di Fragilità (Triennale of Milan, 1998), Omaggio a Nicola Tesla (Bitef Festival, Belgrado 2003), Postanovscik (Orto del fuoco-Forlì 2004), Materia Cani Randagi (Nobodaddy-Ravenna 2009), La macchina di Kafka (Santarcangelo 39 festival) represent the apices of a search based on the production of images, events where material and virtual get together in order to make original creations.                                          In 2000, they get the special jury’s Ubu award for the Prototipo project and in 2002 the Francesca Alinovi award for the artistic activity. Masque is Crisalide festival ideator and curator since 1994.
